Management Team:
Adrian Barfield has served as CEO of ICI since December 2007. Mr. Barfield brings over 18 years of oncology sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry. His experiences include sales and sales training, brand marketing, marketing leadership, and executive leadership for Bristol-Myers Squibb and Eli Lilly and Company, focused entirely on oncology. Brands he has managed or launched include Taxol®, Paraplatin®, GEMZAR®, and ALIMTA®.
Immediately prior to this position, he served as Chief Marketing Officer of Medical Media Holdings (MMH) the parent company of Tiba Oncology, ICI, Cure Media Group, Cancer Information Group and Physicians Education Resource. Through his extensive career, Mr. Barfield has established deep relationships with the key opinion leaders in the United States and abroad, especially concerning Cooperative Groups and key institutions across all tumor types. Mr. Barfield's collective experiences afford him a unique perspective as it relates to key growth drivers in the oncology space.
Jill Kaufman, a Senior Manager at ICI, has been with the company for over 3 years and brings a combined 10 years of experience in marketing, project management and market research and has spent the last 5 years focused primarily in the pharmaceutical / healthcare industries.
Prior to joining ICI, Ms. Kaufman worked in Global Medical Affairs for Amgen coordinating and implementing a broad range of professional and therapeutic training programs for the Oncology Regional Medical Liaison group. Ms. Kaufman received her B.A in Linguistics with a minor in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara and has received additional market research training from the Burke Institute.
Lindsay McAllister has been a Manager at ICI for two years and has worked closely with the medical industry for more than 8 years. Ms. McAllister joined ICI from Helix Medical LLC where she worked as a brand manager supporting clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
Before joining Helix, she spent four years as a market researcher and design anthropologist where she conducted one-on-one IDIs, and moderated focus groups with physicians and nurses. Ms. McAllister received her B.S.B.A with a double major in Marketing and Cultural Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis. In addition, she recently published her thesis entitled, "The Effects of the Medicare Modernization Act on Oncology Practices and Patient Care: The Future of Cancer Care in America" and completed her Master's Degree in Public Policy and Administration from California Lutheran University.
Justine Watson has been a Database Manager at ICI for over a year. Prior to joining ICI, Ms. Watson worked for Keller Williams Realty maintaining their database and producing marketing material.
Before joining Keller Williams, Justine worked for Amgen's staffing group where she was responsible for on-boarding new hires during their largest hiring year. Ms. Watson is currently attending school working towards her B.A. in Business Management.
